Family First Health to Host AIDS Memorial Cleanup Day at Albemarle Park

WHAT: The Caring Together Program at Family First Health is cleaning up the AIDS Memorial at Albemarle Park. A re-opening ceremony will be held on December 2, 2013 in commemoration of World AIDS Day

BACKGROUND: Family First Health, serving York and Adams Counties, has the Caring Together program, a collaborative partnership of Family First Health and WellSpan Health, that provides a seamless system of coordinated, high quality care for people who are HIV positive so they can easily access the services they need. In FY 2012, Family First Health served 581 clients with HIV, including 54 new clients, and administered 3,449 HIV screenings. Rapid HIV screening has been integrated into routine medical visits at all Family First Health locations.
